| Description |
We observed the annular solar eclipse where the centerline (red) crossed US Highway 277 at the Brushy Top Cowboy Church. The church provided us access to their grounds, use of their electriicty and bathrooms, and provided sancks and drinks. We set up telescopes for church members to view the eclipse and passed around welder's glass for them to look through. That night I hosted a star party at the church for members to view through a 10-inch f/12 classical cassegrain telescope. |
